The Opportunity
A specialist healthcare strategy and market research consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior market research professional with strong experience across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences and commercial strategy, who is ready to take greater ownership of client relationships, complex research programmes and business development.
The organisation works with leading clients across the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem, delivering evidence-led research and strategic insight to support important commercial decisions.
The Associate Director will play a senior role across the full research lifecycle, combining client leadership, research excellence, project management, team development and commercial growth.
About the Role
You will lead and oversee a portfolio of healthcare market research and strategic insight projects, working across both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
You will be expected to operate confidently with senior client stakeholders, shape research approaches, provide strategic interpretation of findings and ensure consistently high-quality delivery.
The role also offers significant scope to contribute to business development, account growth and the development of the wider research team.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Leadership
  • Lead the delivery of complex healthcare market research and strategic insight programmes from initial brief through to final recommendation.
  • Act as a senior client contact, developing trusted and long-term relationships.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into effective research programmes.
  • Shape research methodologies and approaches across qualitative and quantitative projects.
  • Develop research proposals, project plans, methodologies and recommendations.
  • Provide senior oversight of fieldwork, analysis and project delivery.
