Job Description

At Albion Rye, we pride ourselves on partnering with the very best, and recently we have partnered with an innovative, modern-thinking medical communications & PR agency, that pride itself on quality. With a modern office spread across two floors, based in a bustling corner of London they have had impressive growth over the last 18 months and it shows no sign of slowing down.

After recent business wins, they are looking to bring a brand-new Account Director to join their PR team to support the senior leadership team with the development of the function. As an Account Director you will be the go to person for their global pharma and med device clients, while leading a team of ambitious professionals through the day-to-day obstacles of the projects.

This role would suit an ambitious Senior Account Manager or Associate Account director looking to take their career to the next level, or even an Account Director looking for a new opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of all accounts under your remit
  • Act as the senior Client liaison, consulting on the direction of your accounts to gain effective trust from the clients.
  • Implement a strategic plan of each project determining who is set on each aspect of the project
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for business within both existing and new business
  • Communicate regular updates back to senior leadership on status of projects
  • Ensure all Accounts managed are profitable and over-spend is kept to a minimum, including the accurate and timely submission of invoices.

Skills / Experience

  • 4/5 years of experience working in a client services role, with track record of successful account development
  • Previous PR agency experience, working on Pharma accounts
  • Team or Line management experience
  • Experience in budgeting / Financial management
  • Strong presentation skills
