Director of Market Access – DACH & EU – Medical Devices

Albion Rye are exclusively searching for an experienced Medical Device expert in Germany to lead the EU business unit for all Market Access and Reimbursement activities. This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of the EU unit and work on some really interesting therapies.

Company headcount: under 200

Location: Germany, remote

Salary: €140,000 – €180,000 DOE

• Develop and oversee all market entry strategies for the portfolio products in Germany/Austria/Switzerland & EU.
• Responsible for local evidence development and modeling in conjunction with health economics and clinical team to support reimbursement applications and future Health Technology Assessments.
• Responsible for KV and all payer engagements
• Negotiation with payers
• Develop strategies to improve reimbursement
• Develop relationships with government payers, medical device societies, and patient advocacy groups in Central Europe.

Experience required:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in medical device marketing, market access
• Must have had global market access experience and strong track record of obtaining medical device reimbursement and successfully managed health technology assessments.
• Candidate should also have experience in a business development, strategy, and/or corporate development role within a medical device or pharmaceutical company.
• Solid industry working knowledge with existing KOLs, thought leaders, medical societies, lobbying organizations, payers, and HTA relationships.
