Job Description

My client is one of the world’s largest pharma market research and consulting agencies, they are one of the world’s leading agencies with over 250 staff worldwide. They are currently recruiting for a field work executive to join their Field Team.

As part of their in-house fieldwork team, you will be responsible for overseeing the fieldwork of between 5 and 7 research projects concurrently on a daily basis, including: sourcing, obtaining and negotiating costs from external suppliers and panel providers (i.e. providing accurate quotes and confirming feasibility to proposal writers before deadlines). You will liaise with project managers and fieldwork agencies on a daily basis, ensuring that all fieldwork is completed to time and budget. You will be responsible for monitoring fieldwork costs.

This will involve:

  • Sourcing, obtaining and negotiating costs from external suppliers and panel providers for project proposals.
  • Updating suppliers on the status of their quotes.
  • Regular updates on recruitment to research teams.
  • Troubleshooting any fieldwork problems, suggesting solutions and coming up with alternative approaches.
  • Proactively answering fieldwork queries concerning sample, timings or any project related issues.
  • Providing input and recommendations in project team meetings, identifying any potential fieldwork problems early.
  • Monitoring fieldwork costs.
  • Managing/mentoring junior members of the team.

Requirements of the role are:

  • 6 or more months of experience in market research fieldwork management (ideally within the healthcare sector)
  • Highly organised, proactive and focused on “getting the job done”
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task
