Senior Account Director, Healthcare Marketing
Location: FULLY REMOTE (UK only)
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 + quarterly bonus

Albion Rye Associates are partnered with one of the most exciting and fastest-growing Healthcare Marketing agencies in the UK, who due to their 2023 successes are looking for a Senior Account Director to join and head-up a brand new team within the agency.

Company

The agency in question is an independent firm based in the UK with a global footprint. They partner with Pharma and biotech firms across the globe to support them with developing their marketing needs including all content creation, strategy, and delivery. As a full-service firm, they offer support with B2B, integrated marketing, social media, digital, and traditional channels.

Role

As Senior Account Director, you will be leading a new team within the agency as they look to expand into new areas and locations, managing a team of professionals at AE to SAM level. Coupled with the management responsibility, you will be expected to lead from the front and take a hands-on approach to the projects. There is already work for this new team so you would not need to do as much business development initially, although it would be forming part of the job.

This role would suit an experienced Account Director looking to step up, or an established SAD looking to grow a new team.

Responsibilities

  • Client-facing – Be the senior POC for clients to cover any issues or queries they may have. While occasionally leading status calls.
  • Line Management – Manage a small team of marketing professionals from AE – SAM level, offering support and development in their careers. You would be their day-to-day POC for any issues and undertake 1-2-1s regularly
  • Business Development – While there are projects available, there would be an expectation to work with the Snr leadership team to identify and pitch for new business within either existing accounts or fresh new accounts

Experience

  • Previous healthcare / pharmaceutical marketing experience within a similar agency
  • Currently at AD or SAD level
  • experience working across different marketing channels including B2B, integrated marketing, social media, digital, and traditional marketing
  • Line management experience
  • PR or media relations experience is ideal but not essential
