Senior Account Director – Pharmaceutical Advertising
New Jersey, US – Hybrid
Salary: $165,000-$195,000

They are expanding their promotional medical education group, looking for a Senior Account Director to lead the core deliverables including building and maintaining strong client relationships and proactively making strategic recommendations aligned with brand positioning and client goals, working in commercial teams on brand plans, strategy plans, campaign delivery, and being the AOR (Agency of Record), supporting the head of client services as the number two in the team.

Working on a product launch, launching next year – rare disease space, blockbuster, game-changing product in Endocrinology – disease awareness, HCP & Patient, and heavy into the science.


To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
  • You must have healthcare agency experience – promotional or scientific
  • Minimum 5+ years’ relevant medical information, communications, or marketing experience in agency or pharma experience, with in-depth experience and understanding of Pharma Advertising
  • Forward-thinker with strong strategic decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of motivation and initiative
  • Staff/direct reports management experience (potentially based across multiple locations)
